A new character is joining Azone International’s Alvastaria series. She’s Torte, Dreaming Atelier!
She’s a girl who loves machines and spends her free time building and fixing things.
After school, she stays in her room, lost in her projects, sometimes forgetting to eat or sleep as ideas keep her busy.
In this release, she’ll come dressed in her school uniform, which includes a cute belt that has her favorite wrench and a tiny robot attached to it.
You can choose between 2 versions: Magic Lantern Brown Uniform or Lapis Blue Uniform, each giving her a slightly different look and making it challenging for collectors to decide which one to welcome home.
We got a glimpse of Torte at I･Doll Vol.75.

Of course the moment I told myself that I was done collecting Azone International dolls, they introduced a new doll that I just can’t say no to, LOL.
I really love the look of the Lapis Blue Uniform version the best. Keeping fingers crossed that I will be able to pre-order her off of Ami-Ami before she’s sold out.

Alvastaria never disappoints! Personally, I prefer the brown version. I love the combination of soft beige and dark brown, and her hair colour is stunning. The charms on her belt are so fun! I just wish she had a cotton vest instead of pleather, I really don’t like pleather, it falls apart sp fast.
She’s not a must have, mostly on account of pleather and how many Alvastarias I already have, and also I just splurged on a BJD, so I need to be responsible (and then there’s that upcoming re-release of Another Secret Wonderland Sera, and she is a must-have-at-any-cost).

I’m torn between hoping it’s nothing new and secretly wanting to see all the cuties, even if my wallet is screaming “access denied.”

I don't know which version I like better. At first I thought Lapis Blue Torte, with her mysterious silver hair, but there's something endearing about Magic Lantern Brown Torte too. They're both so well coordinated so it's hard to decide. . . .
This year is supposed to be my year to spoil my current collection with handmade goodies. . . and maybe get a Nendoroid Doll. . . so Torte will just go on my wishlist for now. (^u^)
