Barbie Loves Tokidoki 10th Anniversary Doll

I was on Amiami, a Japanese hobby store, last night and I came across a Tokidoki 10th Anniversary Barbie Doll named “Barbie Loves Tokidoki Doll“!!!

There was no image and little information on the internet regarding this Barbie Doll, so my interest was piqued.

The only info I found was news from February 2015 and a image of the prototype taken at The 2015 National Barbie Collectors Convention.

I wasn’t sure if this Barbie would only be available in Japan or worldwide, but if what I gathered is correct, I believe there will be two versions (Black Label & Platinum Label) of the Barbie Loves Tokidoki Doll.

1 for Asian Countries
1 for North America

I suspect that the Purple version is for Asian countries and the Pink version is for North America.

Final Words

If you are at all interested in adding either of these girls to your collection, I would highly recommend you get them while you can because there is a possibility that she maybe as popular as the 1st Tokidoki Barbie (avg price on eBay $545.00)

The Purple version of Barbie is a Platinum Label which means she will be hard to obtain 🙁

The Platinum Label version was randomly sent to select retailers, so you have to wait till September 1, 2015 to see which retailer will offer the Platinum Label Barbie doll.

If you were unable to get the Platinum Tokidoki Barbie you can find her on eBay, sadly she’s priced waaaay above the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $75. 🙁
