You can now pre-order the formally exclusive Pullip Eileen.
Eileen was originally sold exclusively in China on the GIRLISM少女主义 Taobao shop.
She can now be found at Hobby shops in Japan.
I wonder why Groove Inc decided to sale her outside of China.
Did they remember they have fans outside of China or were the sales slow for the Taobao shop?
Either way it’s a win win for Pullip collectors across the globe because now they too can bring home this precious girl.
While this is great news, on one hand I feel for the collectors who went through the extra steps to pre-order Eileen on Taobao because they were under the impression that she would only be sold at 1 location.
Eileen was scheduled to come out in March – April 2018 but her new date is May 2018.
Groove Inc/AGA even went the extra mile and took new photos of Eileen:

On November 7, 2017 Groove Inc tweeted an image of unknown Pullip doll.
The only information available; she is a triple collaboration between:
- BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT, a Lolita fashion brand
- GIRLISM, the 1st kawaii magazine from China and
- Pullip, the doll you know and love
On October 28, 2017, Girlism held a Lolita fashion show named GIRLISM FASHION FEASTA 2, in Shanghai China.
So many kawaii outfits were on the runway at this event.
Pullip also had a moment in the spotlight.
The unknown Pullip, whose name is Pullip Eileen, was seen modeling a dress whose design was based off of a winning illustration titled Golden Vienna Blue Danube River.
Those who attended the event had the chance to reserve Eileen for a special price of ¥22,000 about $193.
After the event the price went up to ¥24,000 yen about $211.
Girlism’s online shop is running a limited time special, offering the Pullip at the event price of ¥22,000 about $193.
But her price will increase once the special is over.
At this time it’s unknown when shops outside of China will offer her for sale.
Pullip Eileen is scheduled for a March – April 2018 release.

Sadly I can’t canceled my order there because they will not refund my money. T_T So I have to be patient. When I used the translator it’s stated that the release is still in March/April so I hope it wouldn’t change! >.<
Hopefully GIRLISM will ship the doll on schedule and you will get Eileen before everybody else. 🙂

I really want this pullip! I need it in my collection! But I hate Taobao system! I tried to use a proxy once but they wanted a code or something like that that I never received and my order was canceled. So….I really really really really hope this pullip will be displayed on other websites later like Hobby Search or Pullip Style. I will try to ask Pullip Style about this…

Groove Inc hasn’t made an announcement for her yet, so maybe when/if they do she’ll show up in other shops.

In the end I’ve decided to give Taobao Focus a second chance but only because they’ve changed all the system of order. It’s quite similar to the one of From Japan with a payment in two times. They say that they have ordered the pullip… Wait and see now! But I really really hope it will work this time! >.<
