Exciting news, Bandai surprised fans by announcing a Disney Princess Cinderella.
Cinderella is part of a series named “Doll Collection.”
According to the Press Release, translated below, Cinderella marks the 1st doll from the Doll Collection and more dolls are expected to be release.
There are somethings I find strange about this release.
And Pullip’s logo, Groove’s logo, and Cheonsang Cheonha’s copyright are missing.
They simply reference Cinderella as a “30cm chibi doll.”
This is very unusual.
Hopefully this is a slight oversight and not a cause for concern.
Below is a prototype image of another Cinderella themed doll and other Disney inspired princesses by Jun Planning.
Can we expect to see them as part of the series?
Here is additional information about the Disney Doll Collection from the Press Release:
The Doll Collection brings you Cinderella, the protagonist Princess from the Disney film of the same name, in the form of a 30cm-tall chibi figure!
Available for pre-order from February 10, 2017. Check it out now!
Cinderella’s features are meticulously designed, and her blue eyes are made of translucent material to give them a lifelike sparkle.
The pale porcelain skin, long lashes, and light blush on her cheeks represent the beauty of Cinderella.
Press the button at the back of her head to move her eyes or make her wink. The light blue dress is fashioned after Cinderella’s ball gown in the movie.
Her stylish figure is enhanced in the A-line dress, and translucent organdy is used to give volume to the sleeves and overskirt, creating an elegant and delicate, yet gorgeous look.
The headband, choker, and glass shoes are also recreated from the movie.
The doll has a wide range of movement. You can make her clasp her hands in front, strike a dance pose, and make many other moves.Hobby Dengeki
At this time you can only purchase Cinderella 30cm chibi from Premium Bandai.

Are you looking forward to this Princess or would you like to see a different Princess announced?
Will Bandai be the only store where you can buy the Doll Collection 30cm chibi dolls?
Why do you think there is no mention of Pullip’s name, should we be concerned or is it nothing out of the ordinary?
What do you think the possible reasoning is behind the marketing team omitting the word Pullip?
Should fans be cautious of these changes or is Pullip simply moving in a different direction?
