And here we go again, Unoas with no information released. Thanks so much Sekiguchi, your customer service is superb /s I found them on Taobao in DollDoll House which is the store Petworks uses in China. Of course I had to use a deputy service, but I think I bought them. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea how much they cost. I am unable to translate Taobao, I can’t open an account there, & using a deputy service (or the one I used, does anyone have any recommendations?) is just so convoluted that it drives me crazy. I wish they had different outfits because I don’t need two of the same thing, but at least the dolls are different looking. Here’s hoping I actually get them, and at a reasonable cost.

      Hi Marna,

I was hoping you’d stop by and share your thoughts about Sekiguchi and the Unoa dolls.

They were up on the Taobao site already? 😦

I’m alway curious, how do people get their hands on these dolls?

Does Sekiguchi post them someplace “special?”

I tried ordering from Taobao with a shopping service years ago.

Not sure if the company is still around. If I remember the name I’ll let you know.

      Which service did you use?

Sending dolly wishes that your order goes through at a reasonable price.

It’s always a pleasure hearing your thoughts about Sekiguchi 😁

In the past, Sekiguchi has always posted about any new Unoas in the news section of the Momoko doll site. This time the only mention of them was when they listed what they were going to exhibit at Doll Show 66 & they called them “Yunoakurusurito” instead of calling them “Yunoa” like they used to. They never answered my email (no surprise) when I asked about them, so I don’t know why.

The last time they sold some, Sekiguchi sold them through their “secret store”, but they aren’t there now, & I didn’t want to wait in case they never do. The only place I found them was at this store https://world.taobao.com/dianpu/33529619.htm?a21wu.11804641-tw.pagination.2 but now I don’t see them there, so I have no clue if I bought them or not.

The deputy service I used is Superbuy, & I wouldn’t mind finding a better one because the whole process is just ridiculously complicated & I can’t understand what they want half the time.

        Why is this so hard?????

          Hi Marna,

After your last comment I did some digging and discovered some exciting news.

It seems as if the dolly universe is finally answering your request about the U-noa Quluts Light dolls.

In May 2022 Sekiguchi started a U-noa Quluts Light Twitter page where they promise to share news about upcoming releases

They also have a dedicated U-noa Quluts Light site where they will share news about the dolls.

The Idol dolls will be out in August.

Then I continued down the rabbit hole and landed on a site of a fan who went to Doll Show 66.

Google translation said something about U-noa Quluts Light and Azone.

I did a better translation and found out Azone will be handling the sale of the Idol U-noa Quluts Light. I’m not sure what this means.

Maybe Azone labelshops will sell the dolls.

And (I’m just hoping) since there are several Azone dealers outside of Japan who sell the limited Azone dolls, these sellers may also offer the U-noa Quluts Light dolls. Giving you and other fans another way to welcome these dolls home.

We’ll have to see how everything unravels.

If it wasn’t for your interest in these dolls, I would have missed this information which was “subtly” revealed 😅

          Thanks 😊

WOW!!! Great info! Azone is much more accessible than Taobao for me. I’m going to see if I can cancel my order at Superbuy & take a chance that I’ll be able to get the dolls from somewhere else. If I can’t, at least I know for next time.

I enjoyed Azone’s booth the best. I’m glad they’re releasing Lil’ Fairies on Picco Neemo D, I’m intrigued by Black Raven Luluna and I can’t wait for more pics of Mary! The bunny girls look adorable, too!

It’s great that they’re bringing back the Luminous Street line, it seemed like they forgot all about it, though I wish it was a new release and not a recolor. Oh well, there are already too many pretty dolls to stretch the budget, so I’m not complaining all that much. Plus, there might be people who like this one the most, so I’m glad for them.

All those Wonderland-themed dolls are still so darn cute! I also like a lot of the outfits.

GSC’s Nutcracker Nendo-dolls also look promising.

      Hi Neon,

There were a lot of goodies at the doll and on display by GSC

I’m already trying to figure out how I’m going to welcome them home.

Neither company is making it easy 😅

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the images from both events.

It was fun chatting with you.
