The 1st May Dolly Sewing Crush Project is a mod style color-block One Piece Dress from Starting Today Doll Clothes Lesson book on page 32.
The pattern was designed for hand sewing but you can use a sewing machine to complete the outfit.
It takes 35 steps to create this charming dress.
And 8 steps to make the optional Faux Collar.
The directions for the One Piece Dress are written in Japanese and include images so you can visually see the step by step instructions.

The Skirt

How do we get the pattern for that adorable dress? I’m confused. Thanks!
Hi Jane Miller,
I apologize for the confusion.
The pattern is found in the book “Starting Today Doll Clothes Lesson”
It’s an older book and is hard to find.
You can sometimes spot this book on Mandarake.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and if you have additional questions, please feel to let me know 🙂
