It seems like only yesterday since we’ve 1st embarked on this journey with you Crushing over Doll Designers.
This month we’re featuring a designer who was suggested to us by Georgia.
The designer we’re so elated to highlight is peu connu!

Who is peu connu?
peu connu is a doll brand created by Yoshi who is based in Japan.
The brand consists of cute clothes & accessories.
Fans can occasionally spot this brand at doll events and online.

Dolly Sewing Crush: peu connu Project #1
The weather is heating up in Texas and our dolls are feeling the effects.
To keep them cool this summer we turned to Doll’s Closet Romantic book and found an adorable Jumper on page 102.
In 35 steps you’ll see the results of your hard work.
The Jumper pattern fits dolls sized:
- 20 cm
- 22 cm
- 27 cm
The directions for the Jumper are written in Japanese and include images so you can visually see the step by step instructions.
Your Layout For Sewing Success
Here is your blueprint for making the Jumper:
The Bottom
- Pin tulle to pants and sew front crotch
- Fold & sew hem of bottom (making sure to move tulle out of the way)
- Attach elastic above hem
The Top
- Pin & sew tulle & bias to top
- Fold bias over the edge of top
- Top stitch
- Top stitch another line (creating a casing)
The Romper
- Attach top to bottom
- Top stitch along seam
- Top stitch another line (creating a casing)
- Feed elastic through both casings
- Grab doll to adjust & fit jumper
- Sew back close
- Sew along bottom legs
Yippee, the Jumper is complete!
Final Thoughts:
This Jumper is sooo cute.
Layering tulle on top of the fabric is a lovely detail that gives the Jumper that romantic feel.
The girls are planning what adventures they want to to do this summer.

Feeding the elastic through the casing was challenging.
I’m not sure if I sewed my casing too small making it tough. ?
