I don’t know ANYTHING about dolls. I started looking at doll stuff because I’m a seamstress and I’ve recently sewn some doll sized versions of clothing to frame for people who have lost loved ones in this pandemic. They’ve given me an old shirt or dress and I’ve made little shirts/dresses to put in a frame as a remembrance.
Sorry, long winded. I happened on a book called Tiny Wardrobe by HANON and I was blown away by the dolls in the book. What are these dolls called? Is it possible to purchase them in the US? I am creeped out by dolls with huge eyes and big heads but the dolls in that book are just stunning! Is it possible for you to respond to my email address. I don’t even know where I am right now…gone into a huge rabbit hole trying to find these dolls!
Thank you for any info!
Hi Martha,
Wow, how amazing to take your talents as a seamstress to help others remember their loved ones lost due to the pandemic.
The dolls in the Tiny Wardrobe by HANON are Unoa Quluts Light, Tiny Betsy McCall, Momoko and Unoa Quluts (40cm).
Most of the dolls are available to purchase from Japan at various hobby shops.

Who is the CUTIE pie in the Pink too and denim skirt?!?! I NEED her in my life she looks so stinkin’ adorable!!
Hi Mariana,
From what I gathered, she is an Obitsu original girl.
Her name is Suchika Yamamoto.Correction: Her name is Yu Sekiya
I’m not sure if or when they’ll offer her for sale. From the book description Obitsu is doing something with these girls.
I won’t know the details until October. That’s when my copy should arrive.
If I come across anything before then, I’ll let you know.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment,
Hi Tatyana 🙂
Is there any information regarding two beautiful obitsu dolls showed on the cover (be my baby! Cherry)? Will they be for sale?
Thanks,
Valerie
Hi Valerie,
I haven’t seen a lot of info about the dolls yet. Only teasers.
What I’ve gathered so far is that the girl on the cover is Shino Yaesaka from Obitsu. Not sure if she’ll be available for sale.
Dollybird stated that this is the 2nd be my baby Cherry! feature. I’m unsure if she’ll be available to buy like the previous be my baby Cherry! doll.
There’s a doll show taking place on 9-20-20. Hobby Japan’s Dollybird said they’re attending. Hopefully we’ll get more info then.
If I come across anything I’ll let you know 🙂

Hello!
I wanted to add to that that bmb Cherry’s creator, Miyuki Odani, explained on her Instagram that they would be 2 new versions of Cherry available through Dollybird, just like her previous Marshmallow Cherry collaboration 3 years ago. I don’t know how it works to order from Dollybird, but they’ll definitely be available!!
(I’m so excited for them btw).
Great news! Thank you! I hope they will be available to purchase online.
Hi Valerie,
Pre-Orders for the dolls will begin September 30 – December 1, 2020.
You’ll need a proxy shopping service to order from Hobby Japan.
But Ami Ami may offer them, since they offered a Dollybird exclusive doll last year
Thank you Lucie for the, be my baby Cherry update. That’s really exciting news.
When ordering Dollybird exclusives, you’ll need a proxy shopping service
