Candyruru is so cute!
She’s only been out for a few months and she’s already the cover model for Dollybird.
She’s such a popular girl.

I absolutely love this color variant! I’m seriously tempted, eventhough her face still looks sad to me and would me feel like a bad dolly owner.
I think I’ll be able to resist, I’m finding Picco Neemo P to be a little too small for my taste. I still admire it – to pull off such a great poseability in such a tiny scale is a real feat, I just personally prefer bigger dolls. If they make a caramel themed one, my Chocolala will get a friend, but other than that, my wallet is safe.
I still really love this color variant of Candyruru, though 🙂
Hi Neon,
Candyruru is so adorable. Every time I see her, I want to add her to the dolly family.
But I’m holding off for now.
There are some dolls coming up this summer that I’m waiting to see the official photos and get more information on.
Then I’ll be able to decide if I want to commit the dolly funds to Candyruru or the other dolls (so many dolly decisions this year).
It was a pleasure chatting with you.
I’m so happy to get a second chance at Candy Lulu since I missed the original release. I sure hope they rerelease the original three, because I only have Biscuitina so far ?
These precious dollys are what pulled me back into doll collecting after not really collecting for years.
Hi Jessica,
They are so sweet, it’s hard to resist them. I can totally understand how they pulled you back into the hobby.
We’re glad you’re back! 🙂
I appreciate you taking the time to chat with me about Candyruru
She looks sweet enough to eat! ? I’m unfamiliar with this series. Does she have rooted hair? Can the eyes be changed? Does she fit into PiccoNeemo clothing? ?
Hi Paula,
Sugar Cups hair is a wig.
Yes, you can change the eyes.
Yes, they can fit PiccoNeemo clothing (see the last image in the Azone Doll Show 63 gallery)
I agree with you, they are “sweet enough to eat!”
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
Goodness I said I wasn’t going to get her but then…. they did a close up shot of her face and it said bring me home. Very glad AmiAmi had her available. I wish when they announced the dolls they would also announce that they will be available on accessible websites as well. So more people are aware I just happen to be on AmiAmi for something different when I saw her.
Mariana, you’re bringing home another one . . . I think the Sugar Cups know your weakness.
Before Hobby Japan’s official site was the only place to get these exclusive dolls with a proxy service.
Just recently Ami Ami has been offering these dolls to international fans.
I’m not sure if this will be a permanent thing. But for now, Ami Ami is the place to get Dollybird Exclusives (thank goodness. No more proxy fees)
It was a pleasure chatting with you. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about her in 2022 🙂
