Good Smile Company (GSC) will begin accepting orders for their 1st fashion doll series called Harmonia Bloom.
The first girl release is Hagumi Hanamoto (Hagu).
She’s a character from the manga & anime Honey & Clover.
Orders will begin December 14, 2017.
She will arrive July 2018.
Hagu’s price is ¥25,000.
GSC will make her in limited quantity and you can pre-order her from a few Japanese sites.

Meet Hagumi Hanamoto:
The very first character to join Good Smile Company’s new doll brand “Harmonia Bloom” is Hagumi Hanamoto, or Hagu-chan, from the popular series Honey and Clover!
The sculpt and makeup is by Shokubutu Shojo-en’s Iwanaga Sakurako with outfit design by Kogumaza’s Hiroko Amenomori which has all been carefully supervised by Honey and Clover’s author, Chica Umino, to ensure that Hagu-chan is looking as adorable as ever as she enters the world of dolls!
The original wig, hand-drawn makeup and the beautiful glass eyes have all been carefully designed and produced in Hagu-chan’s image, and the body itself sculpted by Iwanaga Sakurako features various points of articulation allowing for lots of display options.
Be sure to add Hagu-chan to your collection and enjoy her company by your side whenever you like! Good Smile Company
There are some features about Hagu that are nice like her:
- Hair – looks soft & lovely. I wonder how easy it is to manage
- Eyes – beautiful blue glass eyes. They’re hand-made. It’s like she’s a live!
- Makeup – pretty and innocent. Her makeup is also painted by hand. Reminds me of BJDs

I’m so curious to see how the final Harmonia Bloom doll will turn out.
I want to get her but for now I’m willing to admire Hagu’s through owner pics.
Let’s hope my curiosity doesn’t get the best of me . . . and I won’t find myself rushing over to a proxy shopping service to buy her for my collection.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the announcement, so was really pleased when I got the message from your site.
I’m not overly worried about the price tag, I buy other small bjd dolls but all of the time I have to buy them on the secondary market (I’m in the UK) because they are issued on such a limited basis, so end up paying over $500.
I’m confirmed for my pre order, now the wait!
Thanks again for the heads up, I’ll be waiting to see how this line develops.
Hi masonpen,
Congratulations on ordering Harmonia Bloom: Hagumi Hanamoto 🙂
It’s always a pleasure to hear different perspectives on how collectors go about buying their dolls.
Thank you for sharing your expereince in shopping for dolls.
Do come back and let us know what you think about Hagumi once she arrives.

I’ve been waiting for her to go up for pre-order and though the price did make me hesitant, I decided to go for it. I haven’t been buying many Japanese fashion dolls this year so maybe 2018 I can add a few new additions. I also want GSC to continue making dolls so I thought it would be good to show interest by pre ordering. Hopefully non collab releases will have a lower price. Somewhere closer to the Pullip and Momoko range.
Hi Ternessa,
Congrats on ordering GSC Harmonia Bloom doll.
You make an excellent point about how buying the doll helps “show interest” in the new line (nicely said).
I will certainly keep that in mind when deciding on future dolly purchases.
It’s nice to have another reason to buy a doll 😉
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on Harmonia Bloom: Hagumi Hanamoto.

I’ve been waiting for her to come out for so long. Honestly im dissapointed that she is over 27000jpy, that is just ridiculous for me. I do think she is beautiful but her outfit and style is a bit too simple for that price. I thought they would be about $150 which I think Is decent since that’s around the same price as momokos and azones. Hopefully for the next releases they will lower the price.
Hello Jenny,
I understand your disappointment about the 27000 yen price.
If the next release isn’t a collaboration the price may decrease a bit.
But I have a feeling Good Smile Company is trying to place their dolls in a different category then other fashion doll lines.
For some companies price is one way to do that.
I’m also looking forward to seeing what GSC will do for the next release.
Thank you for adding your voice to the conversation 🙂

I’m really torn on this one. AmiAmi just put her up for 27,000 JPY. I was hoping she’d be priced a bit better than that, like below $200. I really like her and I’m tempted, but I can’t really justify that price for her. It seems pretty inflated. I kind of want to get her because I love GSC, and would like to see them make more dolls, not just because I like the character and she’s a lovely doll. I have too many things I collect as is, though, and a ton of pre-orders already pending for collectibles/dolls going all the way through next December that I find more worth the price.
IDK… her face is so lovely. It’s just too easy not to be sensible since she won’t have to be paid for until July. It would be nice to have an alternative to Pullip/Blythe style dolls too. Urg… so torn…
Hi Lisa,
I totally understand your struggle.
I went back and forth on whether to order her or not but ultimately I placed my pre-order with Good Smile Company.
My curiosity won!
And I reasoned that:
Well, that’s how I explained it to my wallet 😉
Thank you Lisa for adding your voice to the Hagumi Hanamoto discussion.

I’m hoping to be able to get her! Honey and Clover is one of my favorite series and this is such a beautiful rendition of Hagu…!
Hi Kas,
Hopefully, you were able to get her.
I purchased mine from GoodSmile Online Shop.
Now, the hard part . . . waiting for her arrival.
Thank you for stopping by and chatting with use about Hagumi Hanamoto.

Wow !! I waited for her so long and now she’s finally out ! she looks sooo beautiful. I really love her but I think she’ll be a little hard to get and I’m not sure I can afford her anyway.
I do enjoy the extra pics, though
Hi Lucie,
I’m also happy GoodSmile Company (GSC) finally announced her.
I too wasn’t expecting that price for the 1st Harmonia Bloom.
But she kinda of grew on me (though they maybe due to the cough medicine I took an hour before ordering her from GoodSmile Online shop) :0
Thank you Lucie for taking the time to share your thoughts about GSC’s first doll Hagumi Hanamoto.
