December 2017, Azone International is bringing you Ai Enma from the series Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl).
Orders begin August 25, 2017.
Ai is the 5th licensed doll from Azone’s Another Realistic Characters product line.
This line features dolls with acrylic eyes (like Azone’s newest line Iris Collect).
I nearly forgot they had this series.
The last time Azone created a girl for the Another Realistic Characters line was in 2014.
It appears as if Azone is relaunching it (exciting!)
And to think Ai Enma will be the girl to kick things off.
She was the first girl released from the series back in 2008 with 3 more girls to follow until 2014.

I’ve seen the 1st season of Hell Girl, way back when.
Unfortunately, I don’t remember much about the series except for Ai Enma and her long black hair & frightfully red eyes.

I think this version is better then the older one, due to the newer and better head sculpt.
By the way, it seems Obitsu is going to make 1/6 dolls with inset eyes- http://obibearmax.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-68.html , http://obitsu.blog17.fc2.com/blog-entry-307.html . I wonder what does it mean for the realtionship between Azone and Obitsu which is very peculiar and intersting; will Obitsu compete against Azone completely and end their collaboration? Or will we see 1/6 version of Realistic Characters*-*? I find either option is good for the fashion doll market’ verity.
