Thanks for the photos! I actually did preorder Pepermint- which will bring my total sugarcups to 3. I think that is enough for now, they are really adorable but have a very similar look and three seems a reasonable quantity. Although the pattern of making a “sister” 1/6 size doll to go with is very devious and difficult to resist…

I loved the redhead and blonde BIG Azone dolls, but don’t have room for such things. I wish they made those styles in 1/6.

      Hi Sarah,

      You’re welcome.

Wow, 3 Sugar Cups . . . sounds like your collection is becoming super sweet 😍

I’m probably going to be in the minority with this opinion, but Azone really has absolutely no imagination. They just keep making the same doll over & over again. She’s either dressed like a Lolita, or a maid, or a school girl, & she has thigh high stockings & boots. Her hairstyle is usually short pieces in the front, long in the back. Half the time she has a weapon of some kind. There are different heights, but the taller the doll, the bigger the boobs. Other than that, they don’t really offer dolls that look any different.

      Hi Marna,

I take it you were not impressed with Azone’s wonder festival booth 😅

Maybe Azone is keeping their best stuff unwraps a bit longer 🤔

Thanks for taking your time to share your thoughts about Azone’s booth at Wonder Festival 2022 Summer

While I loved Azone’s showcase, I can see why you would feel that way, and I think you could find a go-to-aesthetic of some sort for most doll brands. Azone’s typical doll works really well for me personally, but I understand why other people might want to see more variety.

I would love to know what would you (if you don’t mind sharing) want to see in future releases?

For me, it would be more of the tan skintone, other J-fashions in addition to Lolita, more gothic aesthetic and more boys (preferably bigger than XS).

As for the weapons, that’s pretty much just Assault Lily thing, but they have been pumping them out at pretty high rate lately… I guess the whole ‘girls with sci-fi weapons save humanity from alien threat’ thing must be selling really well.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I really like this sort of doll talk, so I got carried away for a bit :’)

Well, I don’t care either way about skin tone, BUT I do want extra hands in the tan skin tone which they still have not released. I especially want them in XS size because I collect Rurukos.

As for clothes, I want normal clothing, clothing that isn’t Lolita, or a maid, or a school uniform, & does anybody who isn’t trying to prove how sexy they are actually still wear thigh high stockings? How about some nice pants? A dress with no ruffles on it? Are you familiar with Clear Lan?
http://www.clear-lan.com/index.asp I wish they would make clothes like these.

And please, new hairstyles! There’s got to be something else they can do, how about curly hair? Or a short, wispy hairstyle? Anything but the short-pieces-in-the-front-longer-in-the-back thing they’ve been doing forever.

OK, but there should be some limit as to how many Sugar Cups you can display at once because I think that this much cuteness might be potentially dangerous. Like death by unyuuu overdose or something. SO CUTE!!!

And I’m still not over Uyuri and Reira! Those dolls are magical.

Azone definitely stole the show for me.

      Hi Neon,

I was surprised to see so many Sugar Cups.

Despite sharing their announcements each time, I didn’t realize Azone made so many of these exclusive dolls 😮

They looked adorable all lined up 🥰
