Made by Hand for You & Your Doll’s Enjoyment!

These are so cute! I actually used to study bookbinding for a short time, but then I flunked out and went to a different uni and majored in somthing completely unrelated. Maybe I should dig up my tools and try binding something again…
Thanks Neon for the kind words😁
In February I wanted to learn a new skill and somehow I ended up watching YouTube videos on bookbinding.
It got me thinking how cool it would be to make them in doll size, so I gave it a try and ta-da these mini books are the results.
It took a lot of trial and error to get them to this point but I enjoyed the process.
I was clumsy and it was awkward to hold such a small thing while stitching with a needle and thread.
But it sparked something in me.
I am going to take these skills a bit further by recreating a whole, real fiction book for my doll to read.
I’m a bit nervous about all the many pages it will take to make a complete book but I’m want to at least give it a try.
If you have any tips, please send them my way.
I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment
