Doll collectors got their first glance at the 1/6 scale Momoko at the 2001 Dollhead Exhibition but it wasn’t until 2005 that she really made her splash onto the doll scene.
There are 2 companies that manufacture Momoko: Petworks and Sekiguchi.
Petworks presents the PW-Momoko which consists of the CSS & ae line of dolls:
Close-Clipped Sheep, aka CCS, is a fashion brand for Momoko in casual style, gaining inspiration from catwalk trends. Outfits are elaborately made of good materials, mainly knits – PetWORKs
The Today’s models are made in small lots & for events
And ae: models are designed by doll artists (ae is an acronym for another edition, artist exclusive or and everything)
