The boys in our collection are feeling neglected.
They see their sisters getting new makes and wonder what’s the deal???
The last outfit we made for Eight was during the Dolly Sewing Crush and that’s almost 3 years ago!!! 😱
It was a dapper outfit.
Tatyana remembered that Eight (B1908) came with a pattern designed by Taeko Sekiguchi!
I thought the pattern would make a great casual outfit for him to enjoy during Spring and Summer.
1st look, a pair of shorts!

For the fabric, I repurposed a skirt that I made a loooooooong time ago.

I didn’t wear the skirt often so I figured it could be reborn as a pair of shorts for Eight!

Got to say, he’s looking handsome . . . though I think he needs a shirt so he doesn’t get sunburned! 😉

Stay tuned next week!

Eight looks cool and ready for summer! He must be happy to have new clothes after so long. The tiny print looks great, and the tiny pockets are perfection.
Repurposing clothes that aren’t being used is great. I’ve used cute socks to make doll sweaters, and the skirt from a floral-print dress that was worn to line a travel case for my dolls. It’s nice to give new life to items like that. (^u^)
Hey River,
Couldn’t have said better!
“It’s nice to give new life to items like that.”
Ooh the things you’ve repurposed sound cool!
From socks to a sweater and lining a travel bag, very neat! 😀
