Mon-DOLL Makes Week 32: Spa Day!!!

It’s Spa Day!!!

All last month, Tatyana’s been talking about having a spa day in August.

Naturally I was excited for some rest and relaxation . . .

But to my surprise, it turned out she meant Blythe Allie was getting a much-needed spa treatment. 😭😭😭

Oh well, maybe next time will be my turn 🤣

Allie’s 1st treatment is a facial!

She is such a hard working girl and it shows, 10 years of modeling will do that to you.

I promise these marks aren’t due to rough handling or neglect on our part, it’s a natural aging process called Plasticizer Migration that unfortunately happens to dolls made from PVC.

I’m ready for my facial!

Tatyana read all about this process in the book titled: The Definitive Book on the Care and Preservation of Vinyl Dolls and Action Figures.

It’s a book every doll collector needs in their library.

It can be technical at times but it has a wealth of information to help you care for your doll.

You can read Tatyana’s review of the book here

Okay, back to Allie’s spa day!

It’s time to gather the supplies and get to work on our client.

Continue to Allie’s facial in Week 33.

Over To You!

Do you have any dolls who are in need of a Spa Day?

Poor Allie. . . . Plasticizer migration is no fun. Hope her treatment leaves her feeling better than ever.

And don’t worry Kat. . . I’m sure you’ll get a chance for a spa day soon too.
