Hey welcome back to Mon-DOLL Makes Chair Edition!
It’s so lovely to see you again! 😀
We’re happy to report that building the chair wasn’t as nerve wracking as we thought.
The only “mini unexpected surprise” we run into was the side pieces of the chair.
The chair kit surface has a light and dark shade.
We figured the light shade was the outer surface of the chair (visible when viewing) and the darker shade was the inner surface of the chair.
But when inspecting the side pieces, we noticed one side of the chair had the outer surface (light shade) facing up while the other piece had the inner surface (dark shade) facing up.

No matter how we arranged the side pieces the darker shade would always be visible on the left side of the chair.
The pieces weren’t mirrored images. (a left light shade and a right light shade)
It’s not a huge deal.
Luckily, we plan to paint the chair so we aren’t affected by this issue but if we had decided to leave the chair bare or stained it, the chair probably would have looked a bit odd because the left side would be darker than the ride side of the chair.

Here is video on how to put the chair together!
If you do this project, we would like to see your chair. 😀
Next step paint!

The chair is looking good! The design is really cute too. Looking forward to seeing how it looks painted!
Hiya River,
Thanks, it’s been lots of fun!
I wish there were more furniture kits for 1/3 and 1/6 scale dolls available, it can be a new additive hobby 😉
Can’t wait for you to see the final look!

That is a great piece of furniture – you did a good job!
Not sure I’m brave enough to attempt making chairs…
(However, I have been sewing already for Halloween, will send in a pic!)
Thank you Fee Berger!
Fuuun, I bet your doll is excited for her Halloween look 😀
Thanks for the image, great job as always, can’t wait to highlight your work next week!

I wonder what color you’ll choose for the chair. I hope the dolls aren’t fighting over it!
Hehe great point Neon, we didn’t even think about that 😆
Uh-oh guess that means we’ll have to make some more seats for them then . . .
Can’t wait to share the finished chair with you!
