It’s Doll-o-Ween!!!
And the dolls are getting in the spirit.
To welcome the autumn season, Anna made a Candy Corn Pillow.
This is a simple & sweet beginner friendly pattern that any fall loving doll will gladly enjoy snuggling with!

There’s a funny story behind this pillow.
While testing the pattern, Anna asked Nina-chan to pick three colors for the candy corn.
Unfortunately, Nina-chan had never seen a candy corn before so she randomly picked 3 fall colors that didn’t resemble the classic colors for this treat. hehe 😅
Not wanting to discourage Nina-chan from being her little helper, Anna went ahead and used the fabric to create a fall inspired Candy Corn.
Nina-chan was glad to see that Anna made the pillow!
And she became curious and wanted to know what a Candy Corn actually is.
We gave her one and she was surprised to discover that they are white, orange, & yellow in color!
She insisted that we purchase the classic colors so Anna could remake the Fall candy inspired cushion.

Yay, Halloween-themed crafts! Halloween is my second favourite holiday (after All Souls Day), and the favourite from the globally observed ones, as ASD isn’t really all that widespread.
I’m not making any season-appropriate stuff, as I have some new dolls in need of basic wardrobe. And in some cases, face-ups.
Cinnamon is the taste of fall for me (and caramel, but caramel is my fave, so that’s an all-year-long kinda deal).
I’ll be looking forward to others’ cosplay pics, it will be so much fun!

Oh, that is a very sweet looking pillow. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever seen or tasted candy corn before. Then again, I am not US based, and it does seem to be a very US thing…

I am a UK based dolly fan! Halloween isn’t as big over here as it is in the US, but it is gaining in popularity every year. Still don’t have candy corn though – is it nice?

Oh really, that’s interesting to learn that Halloween isn’t popular over there.
It’s not my favorite Halloween candy, it taste like a vanilla flavored marshmallow to me . . . I prefer something chocolatey 😄
