Who is cosplaying as the character Umaru Doma from the series Himouto! Umaru-chan!
Hina-chan recently watched the anime and was so captivated by Umaru that she decided to become a lazy gamer too! 🤣
We didn’t think watching Himouto! Umaru-chan would leave a lasting impression on Hina-chan . . . but it did and in a big way.
She spends all her time gaming 😑
The patterns we used to create Umaru-chan’s look are from:

- Obitsu 11 Paper Pattern Textbook Boy (cape & shirt)
One positive thing about Hina-chans new found hobby is that it keeps her from causing trouble

She sure looks like she’s enjoying herself~ She nailed the character. Snacks, phone. . . and of course a comfy hoodie! It’s so cute and well-made. Looks so cozy to be wrapped up in.
Currently I’m playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Harvestella! One is pure and cute, and the other is an adventure, so they balance each other nicely.

Oh fun! I’m familiar with Animal Crossing but haven’t played it yet I just googled Harvestella and wow it looks like it is fun adventure.
I used to love . . . ok I was borderline obsessed with playing the Sims.
Now and days I don’t play many games but there are occasions when I enjoy playing Nancy drew games with my sister, love a good mystery 😁

Pardon the screaming, I just really love the hamster cape.
We don’t seem to be a gamer gang over here, I have some games I like, but I don’t consider myself a gamer, and my dolls don’t really seem to be interested. Most of them have some sort of magic / are supernatural creatures / form secret societies where they get up to who knows what (I don’t have the foggiest), so I guess there’s no time left for gaming…

Hina-chan looks adorable in her cosplay, and I hope she is enjoying her games. What type of games is she into?
I’m into gaming. Sort of. I… don’t know really how to explain that. I only really play games on the Switch, but I love hearing about other types of games and reading up on them. My favourite game is Hades – really looking forward to the sequel! I should admit that I do tend to jump for Pokémon games pretty quickly. They were some of the first I ever played, so there’s a lot of nostalgic fondness there as well. I think it’s the same for Spyro, really.
As for my dolls? Yeah, quite a few of them game. My first ever resin BJD is very much into his gaming and tends to be the one I would photograph with any new game I get. A couple of the Azones enjoy it as well, but they’re a lot more casual about it – BJD is begging me to get him a proper computer set up instead of just a console, LOL. (Maybe that Disney ILY4Ever accessory pack would work…?)

Hina-chan is really into role playing games, especially the bright/colorful ones.
She occasionally enjoys a good mystery game too like Nancy Drew, though I think she picked that up from us 😆
