Almost every year fans are presented with a Monchhichi themed Momoko doll, to celebrate Monchhichi’s birthday.
The 2018 Monchhichi Momoko doll may look familiar to some because she’s similar to the doll released in 2016 along with Ruruko.
I believe the 2018 version will be a re-color however Sekiguchi didn’t publish images of the updated color. 🙁

Momoko’s freckles are too adorable for words, I wouldn’t mind owning her cape and a pair of those slippers.
Both look cozy and warm and would be perfect for those long winter nights.

Sekiguchi hasn’t posted an official picture 🙁
I looked for images of the Monchhichi event to see if someone took a photo of her but sadly I only found 1 image.
From what I can tell she looks exactly like the original.
I wish there was a better image of the cape, I’m thinking this is where the 2 dolls differ.

It’s sad that there aren’t more than one available.
If the cape is where it differs then the new cape doe look a little more dark brown but that might just be the picture.
