I honestly thought they either dropped or forgot about these two since it’s been almost two years when their illustrations came out. Very excited that I’m finally going to be able to grab them though. I already have the “inventor” who I named Percy so I’m very happy he won’t be alone anymore!

What a cute pair! They’re giving off sibling vibes, so it’d be hard to get just one. I’m safe from this round for now, but I love Anna’s cheerful expression. Now if she goes on sale after her release, that’s a different story. 😉
Steampunk aesthetic is popular lately, isn’t it? Azone has the Alvastaria series and now GoodSmile is making steampunk-themed dolls too. And they’re doing a great job too – all the little details like Anna’s thread bobbins and Ansel’s cane really pull the look together.

I’ve been buying Nendoroid Dolls when I never thought I would because I also prefer rooted hair – but they’re piling up in my collection despite that! I don’t think I can pass up on a Plague Doctor, so I’ll probably pick up Ansel.

I pre-ordered both of them yesterday! I can’t wait for my steampunk siblings! I don’t actually know whether they’re meant to be siblings or a married couple or something else, but I’m getting some sibling vibes here and that’s what they’re going to be in my collection. There’s also a special case for them up for pre-order, but I’ll try to make my own instead.
GSC’s original characters are consistently knocking it out of the park, I sense a big collection of Nendoroid Dolls in my future. I’d like to keep it reasonable, as I prefer dolls with rooted hair, but between needing everything Hanako-kun related (Nene, GSC, give me Nene!) and absolutely loving the OG Nendoroid Doll designs, the term reasonable might soon become pretty foggy and vague…
And I also pre-ordered one of my BJD dream girls – Vampire Tristan from Peak’s Woods, so I’m beyond happy! It’s only March, but even if I don’t manage to get any more dolls in 2023, with Prim, all the NendoDolls and Tristan, I can already declare this a great dolly year!
