Blythe Lolita Fans Rejoice!

A pretty in pink lolita princess named Neo Blythe Gracey Chantilly will grace you in May 2017.

It feels like it’s been foreveeer since we’ve seen a Neo Blythe announcement, in fact the last announcement was in November 2016 for the chic Neo Blythe Adores Anna, who was released in January 2017.

I suppose the wait was well worth it since are eyes are treated to a very sugary girl!

Gracey Chantilly reminds me of bubble gum with her pale pink lacey dress.

Simply looking at her, I feel I will get a toothache . . . and in this case a toothache ain’t a bad thing.

She’s a total sweetheart!

I’m trying to remember the last time a lolita Blythe was announced?

Her Story:

I found a bolt of beautiful lace in my grandma’s attic. Passed down for generations, it’s a little bit dusty, but there’s nothing as beautiful or detailed as this.

That’s why I chose to be brave and dye it pink to make a dress, so I may pass it down to my children one day.Gracey Chantilly

Doll Info:

  • Her hairstyle is slightly permed, with bangs cut short, and her hair color is honey gold
  • Eye shadow is brown, and her cheeks and lips are pink
  • Her right facing eye chips are light blue, and her face color is cream
  • Face type is a newly made Radiance Renew (Radiance Renew is based off of the old Radiance mode)

Where To Order

Release Date: May 2017
Price: ยฅ17,900 about $155

It’s Opinion Time!

Has this lolita style Blythe given you a sugar rush or is her frilly/sugary style to sweet for your liking?

  1. Hiya J_Sanchez,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I updated the post ๐Ÿ™‚

I must admit, I’m not too familiar with the different Blythe face molds.

I get confuse by the many face molds and the terminology/abbreviations that go with them.

But I will try to familiarize myself with them ^^

Do you happen to remember the last doll with the RBL mode?

Since they are renewing the RBL face, who knows, they may bring back SBL and EBL someday.

Thanks for chatting about Neo Blythe Gracey Chantilly with me!

    ~Kat

    1. The last RBL made was Penny Precious. There are so many face molds…. not including the Kenners and Ashton Drakes, there is now seven face molds ( BL, EBL, SBL, RBL, FBL, RBL+ and now Radience Renew). It’s hard to tell the difference at first but if you like all of them up and stare at them for a while, you notice the differences lol.

      1. Hi J-Sanchez,

I appreciate you coming back and sharing the info about the last RBL Blythe. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow so Penny Precious was the last girl, she came out in 2013.

It’s interesting that they decided to bring that mode back.

Whaaaat, 7 face molds?!?! And not including the Kenners and Ashton Drakes.

        Whooa that’s crazy.

I have some studying to do ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I read that she’s going to be a new face mold called Radiance Renew. Supposedly it’s a comeback of the old RBL mold. I’m kinda excited about that but I wish Takara could re-release the EBL or the SBL molds, I really miss those molds….

  3. I can’t remember the last time there was a lolita Blythe, since the style is usually associated with pullip for me. From the drawing, I’m not that keen – the style seems a little out of date and I’m not drawn to these shades of blonde hair blue eyes. I will be interested in seeing the final doll all the same, I might be surprised

    1. Heya Madeleine,

I know it’s funny, when I think of lolita, I automatically think of Pullips too xD.

Yeah it’s hard to judge a doll based off an illustration, sometimes I wish CWC would show the actual prototype 1st.

But the illustrations are part of Neo Blythe’s charm.

Thanks for chatting with us about Neo Blythe Gracey Chantilly.

    1. Hey Theresa,

How exciting to hear she maybe your 2nd Blythe!

      Who is your 1st Blythe?

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

P.S. You have a cheerful site, keep up the good work. ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S.S. I saw the answer to my Blythe question, Neo-Blythe Ufo A Go-Go is your 1st Blythe ^^

      1. Hi Kat,

Thank you so much, your compliment means a lot to me!

I can imagine that Gracey Chantilly will look great next to my Ufo A Go-Go. I have a soft spot for turquoise and pink. ๐Ÿ˜€ Now I only have to test my patience for stock pictures and the pre-order date. ><

        Best wishes, Theresa
