Well before I go on my little ramble spill I must ask. Does anyone know if this doll is based from an anime character or some character in general? I just have to know if he is based from something. If so than maybe it will help me understand him more. Because there must be an explanation to this madness we call Isul Tete! 😀

I really really really don't like him...you see I was nice enough to say I don't like him vs. saying I hate him. I mean he may just grow on me in the far future but my initial reaction to him was ugggggggh.
I seriously cracked up laughing due to all of the many lovely colors he has going on. The choice of wardrobe is interesting to say the least. I kinda like the look even through it's not the norm but I like it. It has a dutchy (I know that is not a word, but it sounds good) he has a dutch Netherlands feel to him. From the clog shoes and the hat on top of his head and just the design of the clothing...ooh maybe even a little Russian yeah? Those Russian babushka dolls. Its all over the place but hey that's what we love about our Pullip Dolls. 🙂
So my thoughts on this doll: Love hate relationship. I want to like him but something about him is making me go ugh...HIS FACE!!! It could totally be his face! Look at him, he looks so upset and sad at the same time. His lips are turned under as if HE doesn't even like his own outfit lol.
The Isul lineup of dolls are hit or miss thus far. Apollo was amazing because it was the debut of him as Pullip's little brother. There was one month with 3 different versions of him. I personally liked the Jimmy X and Duke while the Hamilton, I felt was flat. Than Groove inc brings us Basara with Isul being Mourl Motonari; many pullip fans including myself where not familiar with this show, so he was a miss.
The September release of him is a total hit! Mao is looking stylish, hip, and indie :D. So I fell in love with him in an instant. You can't forget the October release of Isul as the Romantic King which to me is in-between a hit and a miss.
I think my biggest concern with Pullips will little bro is the fact that he isn't portrayed as a little brother but instead Pullips cute little sister. I was imagining him to have the style and aura as Taeyang, but sadly we only get to see the cute feminine side of Isul.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the Tete and your views on Isul as a whole. 🙂
