PetWORKs and Sekiguchi collaborated in the one piece strawberry Ruruko. (FYI: strawberries are Chimutan favorite food).
Who is Chimutan?
Chimutan is a bunny and good friend of Monchhichi and part of Sekiguchi's line of products (see Monchhichi 2015 Momoko here).
The one piece strawberry Ruruko is an exclusive doll and available only at Isetan Girl.
PetWORKs will NOT be offering the strawberry inspired Ruruko in their stores.

They are FINALLY releasing a version of this doll. I was looking at Petwork’s 20th anniversary site https://pw20th.wixsite.com/spiral/goods, & noticed that towards the bottom left there was a picture of “Peach’s all-in-one ruruko”. I confirmed with Petworks that this is a future doll, so I’m looking forward to her.

Someone who went to the Isetan event said that Sekiguchi told her that this was a pre-release for this doll, & Petworks site now says “scheduled to be released in advance at “Chimutan Club at Isetan Girl”, so it looks like she’ll be for sale to the general public at some point.

That’s awesome that your friend spoke with Sekiguchi.
When I checked One Piece of Strawberries Ruruko’s product description it states that neither Sekiguchi or PetWORKs plan to offer her in their stores.
But this might have changed.
It would be great for fans if she became available at a later date.

Thanks for providing the additional info about Chimutan for those of us not familiar. Ichigo Ruruko makes more sense now. 🙂 I love her pink hair and was so disappointed she was an exclusive. IMHO she’s super-cute! 😀 <3 I love pink-haired dolls. Fortunately, I found a way to get her and she'll be on the way later this month.

Isetan Girl? Is this a web shop I can order from? I’m a little confused on how I would get her. It just looks like a physical shop in Japan. Maybe online, but I can’t tell if they ship international

Isetan Shinjuku Shop is a department store located in Japan.
Unfortunately, I believe you could only get the Ruruko at the physical store.
She is on Yahoo! Japan for 17000 yen.
You’ll need a proxy service to place the order.
We’ve used From Japan before but there are many others.
