What I Like
I love these hands.
Each one brings out a cute expression I didn’t know my doll had.
The hands are for 50cm doll but they look great on 45cm dolls like Anna (seen in the video).
I can’t wait to get my “hands” on the other set, Obitsu released.
What to Look Out For
The hole for the hands is small and stiff.
So it’s not as simple as opening the package and placing the new hands onto the doll.
You’ll need to heat the hands with a hair dryer on a low setting to make them easier to put on the wrist frame.
It’s an extra step but worth it for these adorable hands.
But my concern is putting on & taking off the hands from the wrist frame.
I saw a great recommendation in a doll forum in dealing with this issue.
It was recommended that we buy wrist frames for each hand part.
With this method we only have to use the heat the one time to put the hands onto the wrist frames.
So when we want to change hand parts, all we have to do is swap wrist frames instead of heating and pulling on the hands.
It’s a great recommendation and helps reduce accidental breaks.
But Anna is a 45cm Azone doll and I don’t see any Obitsu 45cm wrist frame replacement parts.
I have the Obitsu 50cm wrist frame for my bigger dolls but its too long to work with Anna’s frame.
So for now, I’ll have to be really careful exchanging the hand parts for Anna because if it’s possible for me to break it, I will some day 😅
