I think Asuna is very cute but she does look different from the anime portrayal of the character. I read on a Pullip FB group, that she resembles the original light novel’s description of Asuna. I have ordered her but will not keep her in character. She will be my wild Japanese street style fashion girl.
Hiya Ternessa,
That is interesting to learn that the design for Pullip Asuna maybe based on the light novel.
But what really piqued my interest was your original design, “wild Japanese street style fashion girl.”
That’s sooo cool and we would love to see your girl when she is complete. 🙂
Thanks for the insight and for sharing your plans for your Asuna.
Sooo the outfit is ON POINT!! Everything else is all wrong! She looks like a Pullip cosplaying Asuna, not only is her hair the wrong color but also the wrong style. The eyes are even the wrong shade of brown.
I’m getting her but she’s going through some MAJOR fixes, so she actually looks like Asuna.
This is actually disappointing because with the Sailor Moon dolls they did them so well!! I wonder why they sorry to say did thing so half heartedly with her.
I’m a HUGE SAO fan, I have all the nendoroids, light novels, seasons and the movie on blu-ray as well. I know my girl.
Hey Mariana!
Whoa, you are a SOA Super Fan! 🙂
We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about Pullip Asuna.
And look forward to seeing how your makeover of Asuna goes, please keep us posted.
