Exciting news for Pullip fans!
Groove Inc announced a collaboration between gouk, a popular fashion brand.
Before we introduce this latest doll let’s get a little background info on gouk.
Takeshi Kunimoto is the designer of gouk.
The concept behind his designs are combing traditional Japanese patterns & motifs with today’s modern fashion.
A source of inspiration for gouk’s collections are kimonos.
According to Takeshi Kunimoto:
Great, now that we have a brief idea about the gouk brand, let’s gush over the upcoming doll.
November 2017 a new model is hitting the catwalk, her name is Pullip Shion.
Her release will coincide with gouk’s autumn/winter collection.
Pullip Shion is an image of Japan’s beauty, bringing to mind the past while joining the present.
I can see the inspiration.
She is a traditional beauty who is also bewitching.
I really like her subtle purple eye shadow and long black hair.
The dress design is cute though I wish it was made out of a lighter fabric, the dress looks stiff on the doll.
Where To Order
