Looks like Groove will be releasing yet another collaboration doll . . .
This is the 2nd time that Groove and Tokidoki partnered up to create such a cheerful and unique girl.
Meet Tokidoki Pullip Lunarosa, the pink version of the original 2012 Tokidoki Luna.

- I like this doll because she’s Luna . . . but that’s exactly the problem I have with Luna-rosa.
- I would’ve loved a totally different Tokidoki design doll! After a while, I tire of “new dolls” that are just color variations (ie: Navy Merl, Red Merl, Pink Alice Du Jardin, Mint Alice Du Jardin, Blue Romantic Alice, Pink Romantic Alice, Red haired Batgirl, Blue haired Batgirl)

I feel like the whole recolor concept puts me off and has been done too many times by Groove now. Taking old ideas and ‘changing’ them a little bit does not mean it is very different; it’s just the same idea with minimal change. As for this Pullip, yes, I guess she’s cute but I do like the original one far, far more better.

The recent Groove releases have been troubling me tremendously lately.
All we’ve seen so far in 2014 are:
Color variants (Lunarosa)
Updated version of a previous release doll (Miku now Sakura Miku)
There have been no doll sets whatsoever yet (Last year there where about 4 themes I believe: Steam punk collection, Cinderella, Monster Night, and School days)
and no word yet on any new Dals, Byuls, or Isuls
I really hope that Groove turns things around and get back to releasing stellar Pullip and company dolls soon!
But this may just be wishful thinking on my part because I think Groove will re release another Shinku. If this is the case, I guess she will be added to the ” Updated version of a previous release doll” list . . . (Don’t get me wrong, the Shinku doll is a little cutie ^^ but I would’ve much preferred a new Pullip design)
I have to agree with you again, I favor the original Luna more. The color combo is excellent and she had an edgy spunk about her which a adore! <3
