I was thinking that he really need the cool Puss-in-Boots style hat and maybe that would sell it? So I had the same impression as Ran Yu!!! He just falls short and is a bit boring…..but there was so much potential!

When I read the name – Puss in Boots – I was hyped! Just when I saw the pictures all my exitement was gone at once. 🙄 It could have been such a cool theme and all we get is a half assed doll with thrown together clothes again. The clothes are of Bird Cage Boy, the boots and tail are from Ruruko grey cat and that his hair is styled in ears sucks. Sad. 🥺

It does seems like a missed opportunity but maybe PetWORKs had a lot of extra material left over and his design was an attempt to use up what they had (I’m totally trying to make this design work 😅)
