Gleaming brightly, August 2016, is the 5th Sahra’s a la mode girl Twinkle a la mode Ruby Lycee.
All the Sahra’s a la mode girls have made their appearance for 2016 (Maya, Yuzuha, Sahra and Alisa).
I’ve been waiting for Lycee’s official announcement since Doll Show 46 Summer. (yeah, she’s finally here!)
Pre-orders open August 2, 2016.

Now that you have a quick look behind the Twinkle a la mode Series
Let’s get a bit of background info about the lovely gemstone Ruby:
The “stone of passion” shines a brilliant red.
The costume’s burning crimson and pure white colors contrast beautifully and magically with the translucent white skin.Azone International
Oh, what a passionate gemstone!
Like the previous announced Sahra’s a la mode girls, Azone will offer 2 versions of Lycee: one a regular release version and the other an Azone Direct Store exclusive version.
When I saw previews of Lycee at the Doll Show I knew instantly I wanted her in my dolly crew.
Thank goodness she marks the 5th and final girl from the series (wallet gives a sigh of relief).
I’m doing whatever it takes to gather the necessary funds to bring Lycee home (it’s my last and final push to get the Twinkle a la mode girls).
According to Wikipedia Ruby
I’m enjoying the outfit of the regular version Lycee. I think the red and black go well together. The color scheme reminds me a lot of Yuzuha’s design.
Both versions of Lycee are simply adorable and it would be so awesome to have both of them on my shelf but I don’t’ think that will happen (I got to reserve some of my money for the EX-Cute friends & family coming later this year).

Sorry for the late reply. The stands are the inexpensive Obitsu doll stands, and the shelf is an Ikea Detolf with Dioder LED strips.
Just a bit of warning about the stands: they’re injection molded plastic that come packaged on runners, so you’ll need a pair of sprue cutters/nippers. The Obitsu stands are also quite wobbly compared to Azone’s, but it’s fine as along as the doll has good footing. I do prefer the jointed arms of Obitsu’s compared to the straight pole of Azone’s stand since it gives more room for clothes.
Hi Rik,
No problem.
Thank you for the information 🙂
I went and placed an order for the Obitsu stand on Hobby Search.
Thanks for the tip about the cutters/nippers. I probably would have broken a piece or 2 trying to tear into it :O
I’ve added the case and the lights to my wishlist.
Since my doll family has grown a lot this year, I’m in need of a good display case.
Thanks again for taking the time to share the stand & display case information.
I really do appreciate it 🙂

So after getting hooked by Aquamarine Alisa, I ended up pre-ordering the regular version of Ruby Lycee. I’m also really wanting the Lapis Lazuli Yuzuha. I think I’ll just get all the regular Twinkle a la Mode girls and call my Pure Neemo itch satisfied lol.
Btw, I didn’t see this anywhere on this site, but I translated the little mini-bios of each character from this page http://puu.sh/qAlTP/81911c5a91.jpg:
What is Sahra’s a la Mode?
Sahra’s a la Mode is a doll series full of colorful fun that revolves around Azone’s original doll “Sahra”. Sahra, Maya, Lycee, Alisa, and Yuzuha are a quintet of good friends who attend St. Iferia Girls’ Academy. Using the Pure Neemo M size bodies, this series is being touted as a teenage girl series.
Alisa:
Birthday: May 19, Taurus, age 16
In the same choir club as Sahra. She is a diligent girl.
Yuzuha:
Birthday: Dec 7, Sagittarius, age 16
Sahra’s classmate. A slightly shy, ladylike beauty (lit. Yamato nadeshiko).
Sahra:
Birthday: Jan 7, Capricorn, age 16
A girl with a mysterious ability to heal people’s hearts.
Maya:
Birthday: Aug 25, Virgo, age 15
Sahra’s cousin. A naïve, innocent girl.
Lycee:
Birthday: July 20, Cancer, age 16
Sahra’s best friend. A cheerful, outgoing girl.
Thank you Rik, for the Sahra’s a la mode translation 🙂
Ringo, at Azone International, posted a bio of the girls here I’ve been meaning to get it translated but I haven’t gotten to it yet. (apparently the profile was in the Azone International book).
Once you know the girls bio’s you fall even more in love with them.
It doesn’t take much to get hooked on the Sahra’s a la mode girls, does it?
I guess that explains why I like Yuzuha . . . our birthdays are in the same month.
I’m like you, I started with 1 girl and now I have 3. I didn’t plan for it to happen but I couldn’t resist them. (Azone did a fantastic job on this series).
I wish I could say that my Pure Neemo itch will be satisfied but I know it won’t be.
I appreciate you taking the time to translate the image and sharing it with us.
That’s so awesome that you can read multiple languages.
I’ll add your translation to the site sometime soon.
Thanks again,
Tatyana
Welp, I’ve gone and done it. http://puu.sh/rjsOx/5b76ede65a.jpg
Now I just need some display risers to better show them off.
I can’t fluently read Japanese yet, as there are still a ton of kanji I don’t know, but I have learned sentence structure and grammar. It still takes me a while to look up kanji and restructure sentences into more English-familiar formats, though.
Hi Rik,
WOW!! What a beautiful collection.
Congratulations on getting all the girls from the series (that’s a major feat!)
I really like their stands, who makes it?
And the shelf you have them on . . . is so nice.
I want everything in the photo (the girls, the stands and the shelf unit).
And their poses – so A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E.
This is a happy photo 🙂
I also wanted to Thank You for allowing us to share your lovely photo of Alisa.
She’s in the photo gallery here
We appreciate you taking the time to share your wonderful photos.
They’re such a lovely treat.
