This week the Azone staff was having fun and experimenting with brown dyes on Lil’ Fairy Lipu and EX-Cute Aika and Lien.
Each girl received a different tropical tan.
For now, it’s simply the staff having fun and playing with dyes & the limited Pureneemo brown body.
But who knows . . .
Ringo mentioned that if Azone gets enough request or responses to their questionnaires, fans may get a chance to see their favorite Azone characters with tan skin.

I would be very surprised if they didn’t eventually create tan dolls, especially after selling the brown-skinned doll bodies at the last doll show. It seems like they’re leading up to an eventual release of some kind.
I think Minami or Riley with tan skin would be awesome, but I’m biased as they are some of my favorites.

I would love Azone to create tan and darker skin tones. I’ve not had good luck doing that myself with my dolls but have never tried with an Azone doll.

I can imagine how challenging it is to dye a doll.
I remember reading somewhere, I think it was a BJD company interview, about how difficult it is to dye dolls.
Technology is moving things forward everyday, maybe Azone has found a technique that is cost effective and produces consistent, quality results.
Smart Doll is doing some amazing things with brown/dark skin tones.
It’ll be interesting to see how things will unfold for Azone’s tan line.
