When I first saw the book, I wasn’t 100% certain if I’d buy it or not.
I didn’t quite understand what it was or what was contained inside.
But after I saw the video below, posted by Graphic-sha . . . I knew I wanted to add it to my dolly library. So to the dolly wishlist it goes
I’m looking forward to learning about the different fashion dolls that have and are making fans happy throughout the world.

Hello 🙂 Hmm, good idea. I don’t have a mobile phone though (or ever will do), but If a device was made purely for that job, I might buy one, sounds good 🙂
Looks great… But I can’t read Japanese, so I’m not sure how useful it would actually be? It would be lovely if they reprinted a version in English… I buy it in a shot!
Hi Nezumi
Yes, the language does create some hesitation when it comes to buying this book.
But from the quick video on Twitter, it looks like most of the pages are filled with pictures of cute dolls.
Hopefully fans can still enjoy the book even if they can’t read the text.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the book.
Come back anytime to chat with us about dolls,
Tatyana
I buy the magazine dolly bird from hobby japan and it is mostly pictures and I use google translate app on my phone, which you can translate what you want with your camera, its not perfect but better then nothing, I buy it mostly for the patterns and there is nothing like this in the uk so I think its works worth it, for me x
Hi Claire,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the book.
I got my book in this week too.
I’m very happy that it’s a part of my library. I’m sure it will come in handy when I need to identify dolls.
I appreciate you taking the time to chat with me about the The Dictionary of Fashion Dolls Revised Edition,
