What I Like
I didn’t expect to add another Harmonia doll to my collection.
But I have fallen in love with this Harmonia humming doll.
I adore everything about her.
It seems as if GSC made improvements since my 1st Harmonia bloom.
The issues I had with Hagumi Hanamoto are not present with Miku.
And I’m surprised by how sturdy and less fragile her skin feels compared to my 1st Harmonia bloom.
I can see myself “playing” with Miku for days with little to no worry about damaging her.
I am very happy with my purchase.
What to Look Out For
Miku Hatsune’s clothes are dark and that could lead to some serious staining.
So I plan to remove her original outfit. She’ll only wear it on special occasions.
Which is a slight bummer but it gives me an excuse to sew and buy Miku new clothes.
Miku’s wig is another thing I’m worried about.
It’s a bit frizzy.
Luckily, I can apply a few sprays of doll oil mist to contain the few flyaway strands.
Which makes this issue minor because I can easily handle it.

It’d be nice to see all of Miku’s friends. Hopefully GSC will wait a while to let wallets recover first!
You’re welcome! Hope the tape trick works. Just remember to put the sticky side on the fabric. Masking tape is probably safe, but some DD owners have said that putting masking tape directly on their dolls’ skin caused marks to appear over time. That’s soft vinyl though, hard plastic might not react the same way, but better safe than sorry, right?

She’s very cute. GSC did a great job of bringing Miku to life. And it’s good to hear that the issues you experienced with Hagumi have been fixed.
If Miku sold well, it seems likely that GSC would continue with the Crypton Vocaloids. . . so maybe we’ll see Rin & Len, or Luka next. They seem very popular these days, and it’d be fun to display them together.
To protect against staining, you can use a body stocking under dark outfits. I wonder if there are any available in Harmonia Humming size? 🤔
You can also put masking tape on the inside of the outfit where it touches Miku. It slows down color transfer. (Still check Miku from time to time if you go this route, though! The dye could get through the masking tape, it’ll just take longer than without it.)

It’s something to try with Miku as well as my other dolls with dark clothing.
