Sekiguchi announced a Wake-Up momoko doll named WUDsp Dollybird who is scheduled to come out March – April 2017.
This particular Momoko was featured on the cover of Special Edition Dollybird magazine titled “All About momoko DOLL” which celebrated Momoko’s 15th Anniversary and she was wearing a stunning gown!!!
I wish Sekiguchi would release the exact doll from the magazine, but I can only imagine the cost it would be to produce a doll as gorgeous as her, so I guess this release will have to do. 🙂
WUDsp’s red hair is striking and it looks like she has a sassy attitude.
Sadly you can only order her through Hobby Japan’s online Shop because she is a shop limited doll.
Pre-orders will be begin August 10 – October 11, 2016.
So tempted, so very tempted but I will resist . . . hopefully >_>
Where To Order
Hobby Japan (a proxy service like From Japan is needed to order)
Release Date: March-April 2017

It’s Opinion Time
Will this fiery red head heat up your collection March – April or will you simmer down with another doll?

I did notice the releases seem to be a lot more than say Pullip releases which is good because it means the wait for new releases isn’t so long but bad if you happen to like several releases in a row!
The magazine is dangerous – there’s so many that are tempting me! But it’s nice to see the dolls released over the years. I love those sorts of magazines. I have the ones released by Pullip, the older one although I wish they did a newer one. It’s been out of date for a while now.
The doll photography in the magazine is very inspiring. I love looking at doll photography. I’m glad I got the magazine though. It’s cemented the fact I will be adding yet another doll line to my collection. I have so many different doll lines right now already but I am sure I can squeeze in one more … now to figure where to display them!!
Ah my fears have been confirmed about the book being beautiful yet extremely tempting!
This hobby continues to amaze me on the amount of talented people who express their creativity through dolls.
Lol yes, that is the never ending question, Where to store new dollies?
I hope you discover the solution and share your findings with the rest of us! 😀

Oooh she is quite fantastic and I’m really tempted by her because I love that hair and eye colour combination. Shame you would need a proxy service to order her though. I wish she was available to order from Petworks. I’m very uncomfortable with the prospect of using proxy services.
Is it just me or are more and more dolls becoming exclusive to Japan lately? I was really excited for the new Koron girl as she’s my favourite face sculpt from the Pureneemo line but I read on your post that she too was an exclusive.
Hey Alasse Carnesir!
WUDsp Dollybird is the total package.
It’s not just you 🙂
Yeah, the Koron Wolf was a 1-2-punch to the gut. 🙁
A commentor listed a website to order Little Wolf Koron at TASINA USA.
She’s priced at $140.
It’s crazy how more companies are limiting their dolls to domestic sales only.
I’m hoping & keeping my fingers crossed that PetWORKs will take a page from Groove Inc.
When Groove handled the Hobby Japan Limited Pullip Alura they provided international customers a way to order her without the use of a Proxy service, which was really nice.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on WUDsp Dollybird!

Or even if they had an english option for their website, that would be nice. With how many people order online these days and internationally, they could reach a wider market and up the sales of their products. It seems a little strange in this day and age. I’ll just keep waiting and maybe another Momoko will call out to me just as strongly. Enough to want to buy!
Speaking of, how often are these dolls released? Once a month? I know there’s been a few releases this year and the ones over the past few months have actually been quite lovely. I recently got the 15th Anniversary Momokodoll magazine and it’s just confirmed that I wouldn’t mind getting a few of these dolls for my collection.
I wanted to say thanks to all of you for your hard work at running this site. It’s my one-stop shop for dolly news so it’s nice to know what’s coming up and plan accordingly. This site has been an enormous aid. I do read this blog, even if I don’t always get the time to leave comments.
That’s a good question.
Sekiguchi & PetWORKs announce on avg 2 Momokos a month but I believe due to her 15th Anniversary they’ve both amped up the Momoko announcements this year.
That’s cool that you have the 15th Anniversary Momokodoll Magazine.
How was the book? I bet it’s filled with a lot of doll eye candy!
Thanks so much for the kind words! <3
