Welcome Dolly Friend to the 4th Doll Days of Summer reveal!
Anna’s favorite season is winter, so naturally she much prefers to stay indoors with the A/C on full blast.
Crafting is her favorite way to spend the summer months.
A few crafts she enjoys are coloring and getting a jump on holiday gifts by knitting for her friends.
She does all of this in her creative space while sitting on her mood-lifting seat pillow.
Anna also likes wearing fun outfits and cute headbands that keep her hair out of her face.
For This Look:
We designed the:
- Headband Pattern
- Floor Pillow Pattern
- Coloring Sheets
- Knitting Needles / Yarn
We followed the instructions for the following items:
- Tank Top – Tank Top from First Time Doll Coordinate Recipe
- Shorts *!*– Half Pants from First Time Doll Coordinate Recipe
- Color Pencils – Doll-Sized Colored Pencils
*!* Don’t Make Our Mistake
If a pattern is designed for a slightly smaller doll, don’t assume it will fit your larger doll.
Be sure to enlarge the pattern or use a different pattern that fits your doll.
We got excited & made the Half Pants which are designed for a 42 cm doll when Anna is 45 cm . . . 😌
They fit her legs fine but she has a curvier bottom.
Not sure what we were thinking.
But the pants sure are cute 🥰
Maybe we subconsciously want a 42 cm doll to join the Dolly Insider Crew 😆 hehe
All in all this was a super fun project!

I feel Anna, I’m not too fond of summer myself, so I also prefer to stay indoors and get my fix of summer aesthetics from stuff like goodies with tropical prints or summer-themed pinterest boards. Pictures are good enough for me, I don’t need any of the heat XD

Coloring and knitting sound like great pastimes to while away the summer! She’s so smart to get started on her Christmas presents too.
That pillow looks super comfy. I want one in my size 🤣
I’ve made the same mistake of making something slightly too small before, too. When you’re working with miniatures, even a quarter of an inch’s difference can mean something doesn’t fit the way it ought to or is even too small entirely. At least Anna can wear the shorts. They look cute!
I know right, I’ve been eyeing her pillow myself hehe 😁
The fit issue was certainly a learning experience.
