Dollfie Dream (DD) is celebrating its 20th anniversary!
Volks is hosting many events & offering special items to commemorate the occasion.
One way their celebrating the moment is by having the reappearance of Moe & Natsuki from the original DD character series called After School Akihabara Girls.
The series is centered around Moe a shy, 16 year old and her outgoing friend Natsuki and their walks around the city of Akihabara after school.
The series stopped in 2017 but to celebrate Dollfie Dream’s 20th anniversary, Moe & Natuki returned!
For their return, Tony Taka the popular illustrator and character artist created an illustration that their 20th anniversary designs are based on.
Moe & Natsuki head, makeup, wig, outfit etc. have been renewed to match Tony’s drawing but Moe’s signature twintails stayed the same.

Oh gosh! They’re amazing! But I wouldn’t want just one of the friends, and I can’t afford both, so with a tear in my eye, I’ll pass.
I do have quite a long wishlist of customizable DDs, plus one stock doll (DDS Karin), so when the time comes to get a Dollfie Dream, I’ll focus on those instead.
Bravo Neon in keeping your focus.
I’m trying not to cave myself but Volks is making it hard.
They keep revealing these cuties to celebrate the anniversary and they host surveys to help determine which dolls will get a re-release (so many adorable ones to choose from).
They’re coming out with a new MDD body and they teased about making an Anya doll 🤯
I’m trying to wait until all the goodies are revealed because I probably can only welcome home 1 doll, maybe 2 if I really work hard & save.
But the temptation is so strong.
You’re my beacon of hope when I feel too weak to resist 😅
It was a pleasure chatting with you
