Dolly Sewing Crush: Momolita Project #4
For our final Momolita project, we are making The Pierrot Wide Pants from Dolly Dolly vol. 15.
There are 9 steps to complete this project.
There are no images to go with the directions, only an illustration with numbers that correspond to the steps.

Your Layout For Sewing Success
Steps 1-3 Top-stitching
These steps involved top-stitching the front pant’s pockets on a diagonal, gluing the pocket pieces to the front pants, and top-stitching the crotch.
Steps 4-6 Pants, Cuffs, & Waistband
This section is about sewing the front and back pants together along the side seams, creating the cuffs and sewing the waistband to the pants.
Everything was going smooth until we got to the cuffs.
We didn’t understand the instructions, so we made modifications and fudged our way to cuffs. (●→‿ฺ←●)
Steps 7-9 Finishing the Pierrot Wide Pants
These steps included sewing the back rise, sewing the inseams, turning the pants right side out and sewing the button closure.
Final Thoughts:
Even though we used corduroy instead of the suggested fabric Amundsen/Gabardine, the pants look nice and realistic.

Nicely done! Pants are the hardest for me.
Hiya Bobbi,
Thanks for the kind words!
I hear you, pants can be tricky especially making sure the length of the pants are the same lol
Thanks for leaving a comment.
