Dolly Sewing Crush: F.L.C. Boy Edition Project #2
To continue transforming 8’s wardrobe, we turned to page 52 in Treasured Doll Coordinate Recipe book and came across a Ruffle Blouse.
You can make a variety of shirts with this pattern.
From adding ruffles, buttons, ribbons, the possibilities are endless.
We decided to keep things simple and went with a basic design without the ruffle.

I had soooooo much trouble attaching the collar to the blouse.
The collar didn’t match the length of the shirt.
Each time I sewed it, I would have noticeable puckers.
I lost count of how many times I attempted to make this blouse.
I’m unsure if it’s an issue on my end or maybe something with the pattern.
The pattern looked easy, but I learned that looks can be deceiving.
And I also learned to enjoy the sewing process, bumps and all.
We look forward to seeing you next week for the 3rd project!
