Mariko Sensei may be a quiet high school teacher during the week, but she has a secret hobby waiting for her after class.
VOLKS introduced Moe’s teacher to the After School Akihabara Girls series as a Dollfie Dream Sister in 2011.
Get to Know Mariko
Mariko teaches Japanese at the high school attended by Moe. Her lessons are easy to understand, and her quiet, gentle personality makes her popular with her students.
Outside school, Mariko secretly enjoys anime and cosplay. Her hobby remains hidden until she runs into Moe and Natsuki at an anime shop in Akihabara.
Two later releases returned to Mariko’s story ten years earlier. One shows her as a shy transfer student discovering Akihabara and cosplay, while Mariko Summer Festival Ver. follows her first Tokyo festival with Ruri.
Mariko wears a fur-trimmed coat over a blouse, cardigan, and fitted skirt. Stockings and pumps complete her polished teacher look.
